Devery is the founder and director of Stryve Studios. She has been dancing for over 37 years and is driven by a passion for stagecraft and creativity. Devery radiates an infectious enthusiasm for passing on dance knowledge and empowering others to become positive forces on the dance floor and beyond.

Devery holds a B.F.A. in Dance Performance from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA where she graduated with high honors. She has an extensive resume as a dance teacher, choreographer and coach. In addition to directing Stryve, she serves as head coach for the Metamora High School Dance Team.

Devery has choreographed for MTHS musicals and other dance teams in Central Illinois. She has also served as a guest teaching artist for the Chicago Opera Theater working with Chicago public schools.

At Stryve, Devery’s mission is to encourage and empower young dancers to continuously reach new heights both on and off the stage.
